Purchased Aquarite T-15 Replacement Salt Cell on June 12, 2015 with a 3 year warranty. We disconnect the Salt Cell system every year and bring it into the heated basement.

We have done this for all the years we have had the Salt water system for the pool. I sent the attached photo to Hayward support and they denied the warranty saying the unit was left out in the winter and the freeze left the gap on the left hand side of the unit or it was dropped. It was neither of these items happened. If it was dropped, won't there be chips or scratches on the plastic housing.

I have used Hayward products on my pools since 1982 and their quality and warranty backup has gone down hill. For the price, you would think they would stand behind their products.

They didn't even request me to take unit to authorized dealer or to send back at my expense because that is minor compared to the cost of unit. Very upset and disappointed.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Allowance on warranty item.
